Wire Harness & Replacement Parts
Quality wire harnesses are crucial in heavy equipment operations to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency. Value Added Distributors manufacturers custom, high-quality wire harnesses built to your exact specifications, with a wide selection of major connector end configurations, wire types & gauges in stock.
CAD Design & Prototype Harness
Our in-house CAD department designs your wire harness from the beginning to final assembly. A design specialist can work with your engineers and installers to provide recommendations that minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
Kitting & Custom Packaging
Value Added Distributors can “Kit” parts such as electrical components, connectors, terminals and shrink tube under one part number to reduce inventory and simplify ordering parts. Custom labeling with your part numbers is also available!
Harness Testing
Value Added Distributors uses Cirris continuity testing to ensure you’re receiving the highest quality wire harnesses manufactured. Every harness that leaves our facility is tested for quality assurance. Depending on volume/usage harnesses are Cirris tested with mating connectors or point to point tested by hand.

Battery Cable Assemblies

Battery Cable Assemblies are the key component in connecting an equipment battery to an electrical system. Value Added Distributors manufactures a wide variety of options to fit your application.

 

  • Available in ranges from 2ga. to 4/0ga.
  • Assemblies are sealed using dual wall shrink tubing and crimped using a 300-psi press.
  • Base materials include welding cable, heater hose, clamps, lugs and PVC jacketed battery cable.
  • Cables can also be assembled using welding cables. Welding cable is more flexible and has a greater average carrying capacity.

Main Electrical Centers & Control Panels

Control panels provide starting power to generators. Gauges keep the operator informed of the engine oil pressure, voltage output, and temperature. A wire harness can be integrated into the control panel giving OEM’s a complete installation package.

Main Electrical Centers are used to distribute power to machinery through fuses, relays, and diodes. Multi -pin connectors provide quick installation of wire harnesses for cab lighting, valve bank actuation, joystick controls, and engine and computer functions.
